Rajagiri Valley campus witnessed it’s one of the most celebrated events, the 7th edition of Rajagiri National Business Quiz on 22nd October 2016. The event has scaled up to becoming one of the most sought after quizzing events of the country, which was evident from the registrations clocking 1688 participants from both corporate and the student community this year to clinch the glorious cash prize worth Rs. 3.8 Lakhs. This edition of the quiz was based on the theme ‘Castling’ and was hosted by Mitesh Agarwal, Vice President and CTO, Oracle India. The chief guest of the event was George Paul, Vice Chairman, Synthite Industries Ltd.
Fr. Jose Alex Oruthayapilly CMI, Director, RCBS; Dr. Joseph I Injodey, Executive Director (RCBS); Dr. Binoy Joseph, Principal (RCSS); Dr. Rosemary Varghese, Assistant PGP Chairperson (Academics & Administration, RCBS) were also present on the occasion.
Nexus Consulting, Bengaluru (Corporate category) and NIT, Rourkela (Student category) emerged as winners of Rajagiri NBQ 2016 and received a cash award of Rs. One lakh followed by TCS, Chennai (Corporate category) and Gauhati University (Student category) as first runner-ups, who also received a cash award of Rs. 50,000 each.
The second runners-up were Chennai Silks, Coimbatore (Corporate category) and Government Law College, Ernakulam (Student category) who received a cash award of Rs. 15,000 each.
